Child Safety Standards

This is hudr.net’s standard on child sexual abuse and exploitation, and on the minimum age for having an account. It sets out what is banned, where the report button for it actually is, what we do when a report reaches us, and who to write to. It sits on top of the Community Guidelines and the Terms of Use, and it applies to everyone who uses hudr.net, on the website and in the mobile app. Where this page is stricter than either of them, this page wins.

Throughout this page, a minor is anyone under 18, whatever the age of majority happens to be where they or you live.

The short version

Zero tolerance. Sexual material involving a minor, and any attempt to groom, solicit, extort or traffic a minor, is banned on hudr.net. There is no warning step. The content comes down and the account goes.
You must be at least 13 to have an account, and older where the law where you live sets a higher minimum. We do not verify age at sign-up, and we say so plainly in Minimum age rather than imply a check we do not run.
Report it from the thing itself. Posts, images, videos, reels, polls, stories, profiles, communities and group chats all carry a Report action with a child-safety reason — on the website and in the Android app. The exact route for each is in How to report.
Reports are anonymous. The person you report is never told who reported them.
Do not forward the material to us. Send the link or the username. Passing the material on is itself a criminal offence in most countries, including when you are doing it to prove a point.
Email works too, for anything urgent or anything the buttons do not cover: [email protected] .

What is banned

All of the following are prohibited on hudr.net. There is no context in which any of them is allowed — not as art, not as fiction, not as a joke, not as commentary, and not because it was generated by a computer rather than photographed.

Child sexual abuse material. Any image, video, audio, drawing, animation, rendering or AI-generated depiction of a minor in a sexual context, or of the sexual abuse of a minor.
Sexualising a minor. Sexual commentary about a real minor, sexualised captions, framing or editing of an ordinary image of a child, or presenting a minor as an object of sexual interest.
Grooming. Building a relationship with a minor — or with someone you believe to be a minor — in order to make sexual contact. This includes moving the conversation to another app or service in order to do it.
Soliciting. Asking a minor for sexual images, sexual conversation or a sexual meeting. Asking anyone, anywhere, for child sexual abuse material.
Sextortion. Threatening to publish someone’s intimate images in order to force more images, money, contact or silence out of them.
Trafficking and paid sexual services involving a minor, and advertising, recruiting, arranging or paying for them.
Signposting. Links, invitations, codes, usernames, hashtags or hints that point people towards any of the above, on hudr.net or anywhere else.
Abuse of a child presented as content — physical harm, humiliation, or a “prank”, “discipline” or shock video with a real child in it.
Adults contacting minors for sexual purposes, in direct messages, comments, group chats, communities, job messages or profile reviews.
Accounts that exist for any of this, including accounts that collect, index, catalogue, advertise or trade the material.

This applies to every part of hudr.net — posts, reels, stories, images, polls, comments, direct messages, group chats, communities, job listings, profile reviews, advertising, and profile fields. A username, a bio, a headline, a profile photo and a cover image are held to exactly the same standard as a post.

For the avoidance of doubt: hudr.net does not permit sexual content of adults either — the Terms of Use ban it outright. There is no adult section, no age-gated area and no “sensitive content” shelf on hudr.net for any of this to sit in.

Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to have a hudr.net account, and older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for a service like this one.

We do not check your age at the door. Signing up asks for an email address and a password and nothing else, so nothing stops someone entering an age they do not have. We would rather write that down than let the 13 above read as a verified fact. What we do instead is act on it: “under the minimum age” is one of the reasons an account can be suspended, and we suspend on it when it is reported to us or when we see it ourselves.

If you believe an account belongs to someone under the minimum age, report the profile and choose Minor Safety. On a post, the Child Safety reason covers an underage account as well.

hudr.net is not built for children. There is no child account type, no supervised mode, no parental controls, and no part of the product designed for or directed at children. If you are a parent and you believe your child has an account here, report the profile as above.

How to report a child-safety problem

Every route below exists on the hudr.net website and in the Android app, and every one of them is anonymous.

Two things there is no button for, and what to do instead. An individual comment and an individual direct message cannot be reported on their own. For a comment, report the post it sits under, or report the account that wrote it. For a direct message, report the account you are talking to — or the group chat, if it is a group. If none of those fits what you have found, send it to us by email and say what and where it is. The address is [email protected].

Send us the location, not the material. Do not download it, screenshot it, forward it or re-post it, including to us. A link, a username and a short description of what you saw is everything we need, and it keeps you out of trouble that re-sharing would put you in.

Blocking is not reporting. Blocking someone stops them contacting you or seeing your account, and you can do it from their profile, from a chat, or from Settings — but it tells us nothing. If what you saw belongs on this page, report it as well as blocking.

You can send one report per item. Sending another one for the same item replaces your previous one rather than adding to it, so put the detail in the first one.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or your country’s child protection authority first. Report it to us as well, but do not wait for us.

What we do about it

Where we find that this page has been broken:

The content is removed.
The account is terminated, not warned and not paused. On hudr.net a suspended member is shown the reason and may file one appeal; an account removed for child sexual abuse or exploitation is not reinstated on appeal.
The rest of that account goes with it — their other posts, communities, listings and messages stop being shown — along with any other account we can connect to the same person.
Any money owed to that account is withheld, and its advertising stops running.
We keep what we are required to keep and respond to lawful requests from law enforcement and courts. We do not hand over member data to anyone who simply asks for it.

We do not publish a response time for this or anything else, because we do not measure one and a number we cannot stand behind is worse than no number. Child-safety reports are the ones we look at first.

What is checked before it appears

Some things on hudr.net are looked at by our team before they reach the public feed, and some are not. It matters to this page, so here it is straight:

Reels — every new standalone video is checked before it can appear in the Reels feed. While it waits, it is on the author’s own profile, it goes to the people who follow them, and it opens on its own link.
Other new posts — checked before they reach the public and discovery feeds while post review is switched on. While a post waits, it is on the author’s profile and it goes to the people who already follow them. Editing a post sends it back to be checked again.
Job listings and advertising — checked before they are shown.
Not checked in advance: comments, stories, direct messages, profile reviews, and posts made inside a community. These are published straight away and are dealt with on report.

So nobody should read this page as a promise that everything is seen before it is posted. It is not, and no service of this kind sees everything. That is exactly why the report routes above matter — a report is what puts something in front of a person.

hudr.net is operated by Hudr.net, India. Child-safety notices — from a member, from a parent, from an app store, or from law enforcement — reach us at the same address as everything else. That address is [email protected] . Put Child safety in the subject line and it is treated as urgent. Every contact detail hudr.net publishes is on the contact page. There is no contact form; email is how you reach us.

Changes to this page

If a report route is added or moved, or the rules here change, this page changes with it and the date at the top changes too. There is no archive; what you are reading is the current version.
