Payments, refunds and cancellation
Last updated 7 August 2026
This page covers every way money moves on hudr.net: what you can pay for, what it costs, when the charge actually happens, what comes back and what does not, and how a creator gets paid. It is the money half of the Terms of Use — written out in full, in one place, so you do not have to reconstruct it from clauses.
The short version
- Everything paid for on hudr.net is paid from one balance — your hudr.net wallet. You top the wallet up first, then spend from it. There is no separate checkout for individual features.
- Prices are shown in USD, in full, on the screen where you confirm. Nothing is added afterwards.
- Your card details never reach us. A top-up happens on the payment provider’s own checkout page. We are told the amount, the currency and whether it succeeded.
- Nothing renews automatically. There is no subscription, no stored card and no auto-renewal anywhere on hudr.net. Every charge is one you started.
- Paid features are not refundable once delivered, except where the law says otherwise. The one thing that does come back is unspent advertising budget.
- Money leaving hudr.net is a request, not an instant transfer, and a minimum and a fee apply.
- Billing questions go to one address — it is at the bottom of this page.
What you can pay for
hudr.net sells a small, fixed list of things. All of them are digital, all of them are used inside hudr.net, and all of them are bought with wallet balance:
- Wallet top-up. Not a purchase in itself — it puts money into your balance so you can buy the rest. Minimum 10 USD, maximum 1,000,000 USD per top-up.
- A verification badge — 29 USD for 365 days. Buying it again while the badge is still valid extends it from the date it would have expired, so nothing is lost by renewing early. See the Verification Rules for what the badge does and does not mean.
- Advertising and boosted posts. You set a budget; the campaign spends against it per click and per 1,000 times it is shown. Rates are set by hudr.net and differ by country and by the category you target, so the exact rate for a campaign is the one shown while you build it.
- Sending balance to another member. Minimum 10 USD, maximum 1,000,000 USD, with a 1% fee taken from the amount, so the recipient receives the amount minus that fee.
That is the whole list. Job posts, job applications, marketplace listings, communities, messaging and everything else on hudr.net are free, and hudr.net is not a party to anything you arrange with another member off the platform. If you agree a deal in a job post or a marketplace listing, the money for it does not pass through hudr.net and we do not hold it, guarantee it or mediate it.
Right now, paid features are paused. The hudr.net wallet is switched off, so nothing can be topped up or spent. This page describes how payments work when they are switched back on.
Prices and currency
Balances, prices and fees on hudr.net are in USD, and the currency code is written next to the number rather than left as a bare symbol. Your payment provider or your bank may convert from your own currency at their rate and may add their own cross-border or conversion charge — that part is between you and them, and we never see it.
Advertising is the one thing without a single sticker price, because it is priced by what you buy: a rate per click and per 1,000 times it is shown, which varies by the country and category you target. The rate that applies to your campaign is shown to you before you confirm it, and it is fixed into the campaign at that moment — a later price change does not reprice a campaign that is already running.
When you are charged
| What | When the money moves |
|---|---|
| Wallet top-up | Your card or account is charged on the provider’s checkout page. The balance appears once the provider confirms the payment to us. The amount you enter is the amount charged and the amount credited — we do not take a cut of a top-up. |
| Verification badge | Debited from your balance the moment you confirm. The badge is granted immediately, so it is delivered in full at that instant. |
| Ad campaign or boosted post | The whole budget leaves your wallet when the campaign is created, and the campaign then draws down against it as it runs. It is held, not spent, until the campaign delivers. |
| Sending balance to another member | Debited immediately, with the 1% fee taken from the amount that arrives. |
Every one of these writes a line into your wallet history with the amount, the fee if there was one, the type, the status and the time. That history is the record of what you were charged, and it is yours to check.
Who takes the payment, and what we can see
A top-up is handled by a payment provider, on the provider’s own page, under the provider’s own terms and privacy policy. The available providers are listed on the top-up screen; you pick one before you are sent to checkout.
- Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes never reach hudr.net. They are entered on the provider’s page and stay with the provider. We never see them, so we cannot store them — and we do not store them anywhere.
- What we do keep is the amount, the currency, the provider’s own reference for the payment, whether it succeeded, and when. That is what your wallet history is built from, and it is what lets a payment be traced if something goes wrong.
- Payment records outlive a deleted account. Financial records have to be keepable after the fact — for disputes, reversals and tax — so they are not removed with the rest of your data. The Privacy Policy says what is kept and for how long.
- Top-ups can be paused. If a provider is having a problem we would rather say so than let a checkout fail silently, so the top-up screen tells you when it is unavailable. Existing balances, spending and history are unaffected.
Refunds and cancellation
The rule, stated once: a paid feature is not refundable once it has been delivered, except where the law where you live says otherwise, or where this page says otherwise. Everything hudr.net sells is digital and delivered instantly, so “delivered” usually means the moment you confirmed. What that works out to, case by case:
- A verification badge is not refundable. It is granted the instant you buy it, for 365 days. There is nothing to cancel: it simply expires, and it does not renew itself. If you want to stop paying for it, do not buy it again.
- An ad campaign can be stopped at any time, and the unspent part of its budget goes back to your wallet. That is the one automatic refund on hudr.net. The part already spent on impressions or clicks the campaign received is not returned — it bought what it bought. If we reject a campaign before it runs, the budget goes back the same way.
- A top-up is not a purchase, and it is not reversed on request. The money is in your balance and still yours to spend. If you want it out of hudr.net rather than spent inside it, that is a withdrawal — see Getting money out — not a refund, and the withdrawal minimum and fee apply.
- Balance sent to another member cannot be pulled back. Once it is in their wallet it is theirs. Check the wallet number before you send.
- A wallet balance is not a deposit account. It earns no interest, hudr.net is not a bank, and the balance is not insured or guaranteed by anyone.
If you think you were charged wrongly, write to us. A charge that was duplicated, a feature that was paid for and not delivered, or a payment you do not recognise on your statement is exactly the kind of thing to raise, and we will look at the record and put it right where it is ours to put right. Include the date, the amount and the transaction reference from your wallet history — those three things let a payment be found immediately. The address is below. We do not publish a target response time, because we would rather not state one we cannot measure.
Failed, reversed and disputed payments
- A failed or abandoned checkout credits nothing. If the provider does not confirm the payment, no balance appears. If money left your account and no balance appeared, tell us with the date and amount — that is a real case and it is traceable.
- A payment we have already credited can be taken back if it is reversed. If a top-up is charged back, refunded by the provider, or fails after the fact, we can deduct the same amount from your balance or withhold it from a future payout.
- Talk to us before raising a chargeback. Not because a chargeback is forbidden — it is your right — but because a chargeback on an account that has already spent the balance leaves the account owing money, and that is worse for you than an email would have been. Accounts used to reverse payments after spending them can be suspended and can lose access to paid features.
Getting money out
Money leaves hudr.net in one way: you request a withdrawal from your wallet balance, and it is paid out to a method you nominate.
- It is a request, not a transfer. The amount is taken out of your balance and held while the request is looked at. If it is rejected or cancelled, the full amount goes back into your wallet.
- Minimum 10 USD, maximum 1,000,000 USD per request, and a 3% fee applies. The amount you will actually be paid is worked out and shown at the point you request it, so you see the net figure before you confirm.
- One request at a time. A new request cannot be started while an earlier one is still open.
- Payout methods: Bank Transfer, PayPal and Stripe. You supply the details for the method you pick, and getting them right is on you — a payout sent to details you typed wrongly cannot be recalled by us.
- We do not publish a payout timeframe, and we would rather say that than invent one. What we will say is that a request has three possible ends: paid, rejected with the amount returned to your wallet, or cancelled with the amount returned to your wallet. It does not sit in a fourth state where the money is nowhere.
If you earn from creator monetization
Creator earnings do not pay out to a bank directly. They accrue, they land in your hudr.net wallet, and from there you withdraw them exactly as above.
- Earnings accrue over the month into a pending balance, and the payout run happens on the 1st of the following month.
- The run moves your pending balance into your wallet only once it has reached 10 USD. Below that it rolls over to the next month rather than being lost.
- Rates are set by hudr.net, can differ by country and category, and can change. Being on hudr.net does not entitle you to earn; the programme is optional, approval is not automatic, and it can be paused.
- We can withhold, reverse or refuse a payout where we see inflated or manufactured engagement, bought views, coordinated accounts, fraud, or a breach of the Terms.
The full conditions — who can join, which revenue streams exist and how each is counted — are in the Terms of Use and on Become an author.
Tax
Any tax on money you earn or receive through hudr.net is yours to declare and pay, wherever you live. Prices shown on hudr.net are the amount charged; if a tax has to be added in your country it is added on top by the payment provider at checkout, and it will be on the provider’s receipt rather than invented here.
Where payments are available
- Only through the providers listed above. If none of them serves your country or your card, there is no other route in — we do not take payment by any other means, and nobody from hudr.net will ever ask you to send money outside these flows. Treat any such request as fraud.
- Not where the law prohibits it. We do not accept payments from, or make payouts to, people or places we are not permitted to deal with, and we can refuse or reverse a transaction on that basis.
- Paid features can be switched off. The wallet, top-ups, advertising, verification and monetization are each things hudr.net can pause or withdraw. If a feature you have paid for is withdrawn entirely, write to us.
Changes to this page
Prices, fees, minimums and the list of payment providers on this page are read live from what the product is actually configured to do, so the page changes when the product does. Where a change makes something cost more or return less, it applies to what you buy after the change — not retroactively to a campaign already running or a badge already bought. The date at the top is updated when the wording itself changes.
