Terms of Use

Last updated 7 August 2026

These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and hudr.net. They set out what you can do here, what we can do, who owns what, and what happens when something goes wrong. They are written to match how the product actually behaves — where there is a rule, a limit or a deadline in the software, the number is in here.

By creating an account on hudr.net, or by using any part of it, you agree to these terms and to the rules on this page about what you may post. If you do not agree, do not use hudr.net. Some parts of the service have their own rules that sit on top of this page — the Privacy Policy, the Cookies Policy and the Verification Rules are all part of this agreement.

hudr.net is a professional network, and almost everything on it is posted by members rather than by us. It includes a feed of posts, reels, stories that disappear after 24 hours, communities, a jobs board, direct messaging, connections, profile reviews, verification badges, advertising, and a wallet that some members use to pay for features, to earn and to withdraw money. Not every feature is switched on for every account, and we can switch features on or off.

hudr.net is operated by Hudr.net, a business registered in India. We deal with members by email — see How to reach us at the bottom of this page.

The short version. The full text below is what counts, but this is the gist:

  • You own what you post. You give us permission to show it — including inside embeds on other people’s websites.
  • Reels are always checked before they reach the Reels feed, and other new posts are checked before they reach the main feed whenever post review is switched on. While a post is waiting it is on your profile, with your followers, and on its own link. Comments, stories, community posts, reviews and messages are not checked in advance.
  • You can report posts, reels, images, polls, stories, people, communities, group chats and reviews, and you can block or mute anyone. A single comment and a single chat message have no report button of their own.
  • Deleting your account signs you out everywhere and takes your profile and content off hudr.net. You cannot undo it yourself.
  • We are not the employer, the seller or the buyer. Jobs and deals with other members happen off hudr.net, at your own risk.
  • Reviews are not removed for being unflattering. You can always reply, and you can hide one review for 72 hours while a person looks at it.
  • Money lives in your wallet. Paid features are non-refundable once delivered; unspent ad budget comes back.

Who can use hudr.net

You must be at least 13 years old to use hudr.net, and older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this one. hudr.net is not a children’s service and is not designed for children.

We do not ask for your date of birth when you sign up — signup collects an email address and a password — so we act on this when it is reported to us. In plain terms: nobody checks your age at the door, but an account we believe belongs to someone under the minimum age is suspended. If you know of an account being used by a child, report it: “Child Safety” on a post and “Minor Safety” on a profile are report reasons for exactly this.

You also agree that:

  • The account is yours, and the information on it is true.
  • No impersonation. You will not create an account that pretends to be another person, a company or an official body.
  • No trading accounts. You will not buy, sell, rent or transfer an account.
  • No ban evasion. If we have suspended you, you will not come back under a new account to get around it.
  • You are not barred. You are not on a sanctions list, and you are not someone we have already removed from hudr.net.

Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including anything posted, sent, bought or applied for from it. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us through the contact page if you think someone else has got into it.

When you sign up we email you a six-digit code. Until you confirm it, your password and that code are held hashed in a pending-signup record, and no account exists yet. Put simply: nothing is really created until you type the code in.

While you are signed in, hudr.net keeps a continuous security log of the browsers, devices and IP addresses used on your account. It writes one row per account, device, IP address and day, at most once every five minutes — so it is a running record, not a one-off snapshot. That log is kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically, and changes to your email address or phone number are kept for 365 days. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what each of those contains.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account yourself, from settings, at any time. Deleting it signs you out on every device and takes your profile, posts, comments and followers off hudr.net — nobody can see them any more, and your ads stop running. Messages you already sent stay in the other person’s conversation, the same way a sent email stays in the recipient’s inbox. You cannot undo this yourself.

We keep a small amount of information afterwards, because we have to: payment and payout records, moderation and enforcement records, and — if you typed a reason on your way out — that message together with the account details attached to it. Everything we keep, and for how long, is listed in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use — what you may not post

These rules apply to everything you put on hudr.net: posts, reels, images, video, audio, polls, stories, comments, community posts, direct messages, profile reviews, job postings, ads, your profile itself, and your username. Do not use hudr.net to:

  • Harass or threaten. No bullying or intimidating anyone, and no encouraging other people to.
  • Post hate. No content aimed at people because of who they are, and nothing supporting violent or hateful groups.
  • Post sexual content. No nudity, pornography or sexual services, and nothing that sexualises a child — see Child safety below.
  • Post violent or graphic content. No violent threats, glorification of violence, gore, or terrorist and extremist material.
  • Encourage self-harm. No promoting or giving instructions for suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
  • Break the law. Nothing illegal, and no offering illegal or heavily regulated goods and services — drugs, weapons, counterfeits, stolen data, gambling you are not licensed to run.
  • Impersonate. No pretending to be a person, a company or a public body, and no misstating who you work for or represent.
  • Spam or deceive. No bulk unsolicited messages, repetitive posting, engagement rings, link schemes, phishing, or scams — including anything promising money, jobs or returns that do not exist.
  • Expose other people. No posting someone else’s private information, no intimate images shared without consent, and nothing you do not have the rights to.
  • Attack the service. No malware, and no probing, scanning or attacking hudr.net’s systems or other members’ accounts.
  • Trade in fake signals. No buying or selling reviews, followers, likes, connections or verification.

Breaking these rules gets the content removed, and can get the account suspended. Serious cases — child sexual abuse material, credible threats, fraud — get the account terminated without warning, and reported to the authorities where the law requires it.

Child safety

hudr.net has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Child sexual abuse material, sexualised depictions of minors including drawn or generated ones, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to solicit or arrange contact with a child for a sexual purpose are banned outright.

When we become aware of this content we remove it, terminate the account behind it, and report it to the appropriate authorities as the law requires. There is no appeal path that gets such an account back.

Report it. Use the report option on the post, story or profile and choose “Child Safety” (or “Minor Safety” on a profile). You can also write to us at the address in How to reach us, which is our point of contact for child-safety matters.

Automated access and scraping

hudr.net’s API exists to run hudr.net’s own apps. Do not use bots, crawlers, scripts or headless browsers to collect data from hudr.net, to create accounts, or to perform actions in bulk, unless we have agreed to it in writing. Do not work around rate limits, throttles or access checks. We apply request limits across the service and we can block, throttle or remove any client that ignores them.

Your content and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of everything you post. Posts, reels, stories, comments, messages, reviews, listings, job posts, images and video stay yours.

To be able to run hudr.net, we need your permission to handle that content. So by posting it you give hudr.net a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, back up, copy, resize, transcode, publish and display your content — for as long as you keep it on hudr.net, and only for the purpose of running, securing and promoting the service. In plain English: we are allowed to show your posts and to keep the copies the service needs to work. We are not buying them from you.

That licence covers the places the product actually shows content, which includes:

  • hudr.net itself — in feeds, profiles, search, communities and notifications.
  • Public pages that search engines can read, when you have posted publicly.
  • Embeds on other people’s websites. hudr.net provides a post embed and a reviews embed widget. If you post publicly, or if someone reviews your profile, that content can be displayed inside a page on a completely different website, to people who are not hudr.net members.

You must have the right to post what you post, including the right to any music, images, footage or text in it. If you remove content, we stop showing it right away, and copies may remain in backups and in moderation records for a period afterwards. If you send us an idea or a suggestion about hudr.net, we can use it without owing you anything.

Copyright. If something on hudr.net infringes your copyright or trade mark, tell us through the contact page, with enough detail to find the content and to show the right is yours. We remove content that infringes, and accounts that keep doing it are suspended.

Profile reviews

Members can turn reviews on for their profile. Once they are on, other members can rate that profile and write about their experience of working with them, and the rating shows publicly — including in the reviews embed widget on other websites. Reviews are the part of hudr.net with the most rules, because they affect somebody’s reputation.

Writing a review

  • Who can write one. Your account must be active, email-confirmed and at least 14 days old.
  • One per profile. You cannot review your own profile, and you can hold one review per profile.
  • It must be honest and first-hand. A review must be your own opinion, based on a real experience. Do not write a review you were paid, pressured or offered anything to write, and do not write one to settle a score with someone you have never dealt with.
  • No personal details. Do not put other people’s personal information in a review.
  • Editing: five times, once a day, within a year. You can change a review up to five times, no more than once every 24 hours, and only within a year of writing it. Every version is kept. If you change the star rating, the person you reviewed is told, and their public reply is marked as having answered an earlier version.
  • You can withdraw your own review at any time — unless a report about it is still open with the review team, in which case it stays until that is decided.
  • A short automated check. New reviews may be held briefly before they appear. That check is not a judgement about you.

If you are the person being reviewed

  • You can reply publicly to any review. That is your main remedy, and it sits next to the review.
  • You cannot edit or delete a review someone has written about you.
  • You can report a review once. Doing so hides it from your public profile straight away and takes it out of your rating while the hudr.net review team looks. If nobody has decided within 72 hours, it goes back up automatically. You cannot hide the same review a second time.
  • A wrong report is recorded. If the team looks and decides your report was wrong, that is noted on your account for future moderators to see.

A report from anybody other than the person being reviewed hides nothing at all. It goes into the queue and a person decides. Only the review’s author, by withdrawing it, or the hudr.net review team, by removing it, can take a review off hudr.net.

We do not remove a review because it is unflattering. A low rating, a complaint or a review that costs you work is not, on its own, a reason for removal. We remove reviews that break the rules on this page — fake, paid, off-topic, threatening, unlawful, or posted by someone with no real dealings with you — and we decide that by having a person look, not by counting reports.

Messaging and connections

  • A connection is two-sided. One person asks, the other agrees. Connections can write straight to your inbox.
  • Everyone else lands in message requests. Anyone else’s first message to you arrives as a request. It does not enter your inbox and does not count towards your unread badge until you accept it.
  • Accept, ignore or delete — the sender is never told which. That is deliberate, because telling a harasser they were seen is what escalates things.
  • You can narrow who may start a conversation with you at all, in your privacy settings.
  • You can block a member, or mute a conversation, from the chat itself or from their profile.

Messages are private between the people in the conversation, but they are not exempt from these terms: harassment, spam, scams and illegal content in a direct message can be reported and acted on. Report the conversation or the account — both options are in the app.

GIFs are loaded from Giphy’s servers, not from hudr.net. So Giphy sees the IP address of everyone who views a GIF, including inside a private conversation. In plain terms: sending a GIF in a DM tells another company that someone at your IP address opened that chat. See the Privacy Policy.

Jobs and listings

Job postings — and any other listing feature we switch on — are reviewed by hudr.net before they appear publicly, and we can reject one or take it down later. Approval is not a recommendation and not a check of the facts: it only means nothing obvious was wrong with it.

If you post a job or a listing, you are responsible for it. That means:

  • It is real and yours to advertise — the role or the item exists and is described accurately.
  • It is legal where you are and where your audience is: no counterfeits, weapons, drugs, or regulated goods you are not licensed to sell.
  • A job ad must not discriminate unlawfully, and must not ask candidates to pay you to apply or to be hired.

When you apply for a job, you send a written application and, depending on the posting, a resume file or a document link. A resume you upload is stored privately and shown to the member who posted that job.

hudr.net is not the employer, the seller or the buyer. There is no checkout on a listing: you contact the other person and whatever you agree happens off hudr.net, at your own risk. We do not screen members, verify listings, vet employers, hold your money or mediate the deal.

Advertising and boosted posts

Ads and boosted posts are bought with your hudr.net wallet balance, and are created on the website. The campaign’s full budget is charged from the wallet when the campaign is created, and it is then spent against that budget as the ad is shown or clicked, depending on the pricing model you pick. In plain terms: the whole budget leaves your wallet up front, then the campaign draws it down.

  • Ads are labelled. Anything paid for is marked as sponsored or promoted where it appears. Ads on hudr.net are sold by hudr.net; there is no third-party ad network in the product.
  • We review campaigns and can reject, pause or stop one at any time. A boosted post is always checked before it runs.
  • Unspent budget comes back. If a campaign is stopped or deleted, the part of the budget that was not spent is returned to your wallet.
  • Ads stop being shown if the advertiser’s account is no longer active.
  • The ad is your responsibility — what it says, what it links to, and having the rights and permissions it needs. Ads must follow the acceptable-use rules above, and must not be misleading.

Verification badges

Verification on hudr.net is self-serve and administrator-controlled. Depending on what is switched on at the time, there are two routes:

  • Buy a badge with your wallet balance, for a set period.
  • Submit links to your social profiles for the team to review.

A purchased badge is delivered to your account immediately and is time-limited: it expires, it does not renew by itself, and buying again extends it from the current expiry date. Companies can separately verify with a one-time code sent to an address on their own domain. There is no identity-document check — we do not ask you to upload a passport or a driving licence — and there is no minimum account age for a badge.

A badge means a check was passed at that time. It is not an endorsement, not a guarantee of anything a member says or sells, and we can remove it if it was obtained with false information, if the account changes hands, or if the account is used to impersonate. Removing a badge for a rule break does not entitle you to money back. See the Verification Rules for what each route actually involves.

Wallet, payments and fees

The hudr.net wallet holds a balance you can use for paid features, and that creator payouts are credited into. Money can enter it by deposit, by transfer from another member, by a creator payout, or by a refund such as unspent ad budget.

What you can buy, and in what currency

There are four things money is spent on inside hudr.net:

  • Wallet top-ups. You add money to your wallet through a payment provider’s checkout page. The balance is then spent on the features below.
  • A verification badge — a fixed price for a fixed period, debited from your wallet, delivered immediately.
  • Advertising and boosted posts — a campaign budget, debited from your wallet when the campaign is created.
  • Sending balance to another member — debited from your wallet, less the transfer fee.

That is the whole list. Communities, messaging, job posts, job applications and marketplace listings are free — joining a community never costs anything and never takes money from your wallet. Balances, prices, fees, limits and payouts are all shown in USD, and the price you are shown before you confirm is the price you pay. The Payments, refunds and cancellation page carries the live figures — minimums, maximums, fees and the badge price.

hudr.net never sees your card. Deposits are taken on the payment provider’s own checkout page. Your card number, expiry and security code go to them, not to us, and are not stored on hudr.net. We only record that a payment succeeded and for how much.

  • There are limits, and there are fees on money moving out. hudr.net sets minimum and maximum amounts on top-ups, transfers and withdrawals. A top-up carries no hudr.net fee — the amount you enter is the amount credited. Transfers and withdrawals do carry a fee; it is applied when the transaction is made, and the amount you will actually receive on a withdrawal is calculated at that point.
  • A withdrawal is a request, not an instant transfer. It stays pending until the team marks it paid or rejects it. A rejected or cancelled withdrawal puts the amount back into your wallet.
  • Reversed payments can be taken back. If a payment to us is reversed, charged back or fails after we have credited it, we can take the amount back out of your balance or withhold it from a future payout.
  • We can refuse a transaction. If a deposit, transfer or withdrawal looks fraudulent, or looks like it is being used to move money rather than to use hudr.net, we can decline it, hold it, or ask you about it before it goes through.
  • Tax is yours. Any tax on money you earn or receive through hudr.net is yours to declare and pay.

Refunds and cancellation

hudr.net sells digital features that are delivered the moment you pay for them, so the rules are short:

  • A verification badge is non-refundable once it is on your account. It is delivered immediately, so there is nothing to cancel. It expires on its own and does not renew, so there is no subscription to stop.
  • You can stop an advertising campaign at any time, and the unspent part of the budget goes back into your wallet. Budget already spent on impressions or clicks that were delivered is not returned.
  • A wallet top-up is not refunded back to your card. Once it is credited it is wallet balance. Balance you have not spent leaves hudr.net through the withdrawal flow above, which is a request our team approves and which carries the withdrawal fee and minimum.
  • A transfer to another member is final. Once the balance has left your wallet it is theirs; we do not reverse it for you. Ask them to send it back.
  • If we take money in error, or charge you twice, tell us and we will put it right. Write to us at the address in How to reach us with the date and the amount.
  • Nothing here removes a refund right the law gives you. Where the law where you live entitles you to a refund, that wins over this section.

If your account is suspended or terminated for breaking these terms, we do not refund what you have already paid, and any unspent balance stays frozen while the case is open.

Monetization and payouts

Creator monetization is an optional programme that hudr.net runs and controls. Being on hudr.net does not entitle you to earn from it.

Getting in

You can only earn when all of these are true at the same time:

  • the programme is switched on;
  • you meet the follower minimum hudr.net sets, and are verified if hudr.net requires verification;
  • a hudr.net administrator has approved you. Approval is never automatic;
  • the specific revenue stream is switched on by hudr.net and turned on by you;
  • where a stream needs it, you are verified and a manual team review has been signed off.

The streams are: sponsored ads on your content, brand-sponsor matching, paid communities, payment per 1,000 views, and payment per 100 active followers. Rates are set by hudr.net, can differ by country and by category, and can change. Paid communities do not charge anyone yet — the stream and its platform percentage exist, but joining a community is free today and nothing accrues on it, which is why it is not in the “what you can buy” list above.

How earnings accrue and get paid

  • Only genuine views count. Earnings from views are calculated from a de-duplicated ledger of views by signed-in members other than you — repeat views, your own views and views by logged-out visitors do not earn. There is also a cap on how many views can be paid for in one period.
  • “Active followers” means accepted followers who have been on hudr.net in the last 7 days.
  • Earnings accrue monthly. They land in a pending balance at the end of each month, and the payout run happens on the 1st of the following month.
  • The payout run moves your pending balance into your wallet, but only if it has reached the minimum payout amount hudr.net sets. Below that, it rolls over to the next month. From the wallet, you withdraw it yourself through the withdrawal flow above.
  • You are not an employee. Earning through the programme does not make you a hudr.net employee, partner or agent, and you handle your own tax on what you earn.

We can withhold, reverse or refuse a payout. If we see inflated or manufactured views, bought engagement, duplicate or coordinated accounts, fraud, or a breach of these terms, we can hold the balance, take back amounts already credited, remove you from the programme, or all three. We can also pause the programme, change rates, or switch a stream off.

Moderation, suspension and termination

Reporting and blocking

hudr.net carries a report option on the things members see. You can report:

  • posts — which covers reels and other video, images, polls, GIFs and text posts, wherever they appear: the feed, a profile, Explore, saved items, a community or the reels player;
  • stories;
  • people — from the profile;
  • communities;
  • group chats;
  • profile reviews.

Reporting is anonymous — the person you report is not told who reported them. Pick the reason that fits; the lists cover hate, harassment, violence, child safety, privacy and non-consensual images, spam and scams, self-harm, sensitive media, impersonation, and violent or hateful groups. You get one report per item; sending another replaces it. There is no report button on an individual comment or on a single chat message — report the post the comment sits under, or the account that wrote it.

Blocking and muting. You can block any member, from their profile or from a chat. Blocking stops them reaching you. You can also mute someone, so you stop seeing them without blocking them, and mute a conversation. Everyone you have blocked is listed in your settings, and you can unblock from there.

What we check before it is distributed

Some content is looked at by our team before it reaches the wider feed:

  • Reels — always. A new reel is on your own profile and with your followers straight away, and enters the Reels feed once it is approved.
  • Other new posts — whenever post review is switched on, which is a setting we control rather than a permanent rule. When it is on, a new post goes to your followers and to anyone who opens its link straight away, and reaches the main feed, Explore, search and link previews once it is approved. Editing a post sends it back through the same check.
  • Job postings and boosted posts, before they appear at all.

Approving something is not an endorsement of it, and it does not mean we have checked that what it says is true. Content that is not checked in advance — comments and replies, stories, posts inside a community, profile reviews, and direct messages — goes live immediately and is dealt with when it is reported. Nobody should read this section as a promise that everything is seen before it is posted.

What we can do about it

Reports go into a queue that people work through. We can remove content, limit how far it spreads, restrict a feature, suspend an account, or terminate it. We act on our own checks as well as on reports, and we can act without one.

If we suspend your account we show you the reason and give you a way to appeal. The suspension screen names the reason, and you can send one appeal from it — on the website or in the app — which goes to our team. Some cases come with something you can do to fix it: where the problem is your username, choosing an allowed one restores the account on the spot. In serious cases an account is made unavailable entirely, so the profile behaves as if it does not exist.

What happens to your content in each case:

Situation What happens to your content
A single post or review is removed That item stops being shown. The rest of your account is untouched. Removed reviews are kept as a record and cannot be re-posted.
Account suspended Your profile and content stop being shown publicly while the suspension lasts, and your ads stop running. Nothing is deleted. If the suspension is lifted, it all comes back.
You delete your account You are signed out on every device, and your profile, posts, comments and followers stop being visible to anyone. You cannot undo it yourself. See Your account for what we keep afterwards.

You can stop using hudr.net whenever you like. Deleting your account does not cancel obligations that already exist — money owed, a live advertising campaign, or a moderation case that is still open.

What we do not promise

hudr.net is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, fast, secure or error-free, that content will not be lost, or that any particular feature will keep existing.

Specifically, we do not check and cannot vouch for:

  • Who members really are, beyond the limited checks a verification badge involves.
  • Whether a job posting, employer or listing is genuine.
  • Whether anything written in a post, a review or a message is true.
  • Anything on a website we link to, or that links to us.

Moderation is done by people and is not perfect. We will miss things, and we will sometimes take down something we should have left up. Checking content before it is distributed reduces how much gets through; it does not mean everything on hudr.net has been approved.

Nothing on hudr.net is professional, legal, financial, medical or employment advice. Deals you make with other members are between you and them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, hudr.net is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities, lost data or damage to reputation, arising from your use of the service.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with hudr.net is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you have paid us nothing in that period, we have no monetary liability to you.

You cover us for what you do. If someone brings a claim against hudr.net because of something you posted, sold, advertised or did here, you are responsible for that claim and for what it costs us, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top of this page changes when we do, and the current version is always the one on this page. If a change materially affects your rights — what you may post, what you pay, or what we may do with your account — we will give notice on hudr.net or by email before it takes effect.

Continuing to use hudr.net after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using hudr.net and delete your account.

Governing law and disputes

hudr.net is operated by Hudr.net, of India. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be handled by the courts of India, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

Come to us first. If you have a problem — a charge you do not recognise, a moderation decision, an account you cannot get back into — write to us before you take it anywhere else. Most of it is fixable, and going through a card chargeback for something we would have refunded costs you the account as well as the time.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still apply. If we do not enforce a rule straight away, that does not mean we have given it up. These terms are between you and us, and you cannot transfer them to anyone else.

How to reach us

Questions about these terms, a billing problem, an appeal against a suspension, a copyright complaint, a child-safety report, or anything else that should not be on hudr.net — all of it goes through the contact page.
